During a 3-month internship in London, United Kingdom, I worked with Thomond, a marketing firm serving diverse clients, including those in real estate, healthcare, and software industries.

 

Throughout my internship, I was involved in various tasks and projects, such as:

  1. Conducting competitor analysis and market audits, analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for clients.

  2. Contributing to rebranding initiatives, customer retention programs, and creating buyer segmentation strategies to enhance client branding and customer loyalty.

  3. Utilizing consumer psychology principles to develop compelling and effective marketing campaigns.

  4. Acting as a consultant for multiple clients, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing website designs and functionality to drive better user experiences and engagement.

  5. I leveraged my PR skills to scout and secure prime real estate industry events, forging fruitful partnerships and uncovering key recruiting opportunities for a satisfied client.

  6. Designed impactful infographics and compelling content for an NHS flu vaccine campaign, effectively communicating vital information and promoting vaccination awareness to the community.

Digital Marketing Intern

During my recent remote internship, I seamlessly integrated various tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, and Velox into my daily operations, revolutionizing the e-commerce landscape. Here's a glimpse into my impactful contributions:

  • Product Page Development: Crafted captivating Product Detail Pages (PDPs), ensuring they were optimized for maximum engagement and conversion.

  • SEO Content Creation: Executed SEO strategies to enhance the website's visibility and drive organic traffic, thereby amplifying its online presence.

  • Website Audits and Accessibility Analysis: Conducted comprehensive audits to enhance website performance and analyzed accessibility to ensure an inclusive online experience for all users.

  • Website Updates and Analytics: Regularly updated the website with fresh content and features while diligently analyzing website analytics to drive data-informed decisions.

  • Monthly Digital Analytics Reports: Compiled detailed reports on digital analytics, which were disseminated to branches in Australia and the USA, as well as to the CEO, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Influencer and Brand Affiliate Management: Established and maintained quality communications with influencers and brand affiliates, fostering strong partnerships and amplifying brand reach.

  • Campaign Management: Orchestrated various campaigns focused on women empowerment, makeup artist socials, and other initiatives, aligning them with the brand's values and objectives.

  • Website Design: Designed visually appealing product banners, landing pages, and infographics, elevating the website's aesthetics and user experience.

 

Through these endeavors, I not only gained invaluable hands-on experience but also contributed significantly to enhancing the digital footprint and operational efficiency of the organization. My remote internship was a journey of growth, innovation, and meaningful impact in the realm of e-commerce.

BASA Method

As part of my role at BASA Method, I hold the responsibility of overseeing and designing the website. Given that BASA Method operates in the service industry, I manage the payment software for the website and coordinate the calendar to prevent double bookings and maintain smooth scheduling for clients.

 

Additionally, I handle all aspects of the business's social media presence, including Instagram, Facebook, Google Business, and Yelp. To ensure consistent and engaging content on these platforms, I maintain a social calendar and create the materials used in social media posts. Furthermore, I curate a monthly newsletter that reaches over 2,000 clients, keeping them informed and engaged with the business.

I actively engage in analytics to strengthen the brand awareness and ensure a strong online presence; I analyze data to gauge the reach and assess the effectiveness of the marketing efforts. This includes tracking website traffic, social media engagement, and other relevant metrics. By doing so, I ensure that the content and offerings are reaching a diverse range of clients and resonating with their preferences and interests. This data-driven approach allows her to continually refine our strategies and optimize our outreach efforts for maximum impact.

SCU Shotokan Karate Club

Vision

As the President of the Shotokan Karate Club, I started my role by establishing the club's social media presence on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Given their status as a Club Sport representing Santa Clara University, I prioritized adhering to all school and Club Sport regulations to maintain compliance with university policies. I aim to ensure that the social media accounts effectively reach all SCU students while maintaining an approachable and welcoming demeanor, encouraging interested students to engage with the club.

Duties

Additionally, throughout the year, I set up informational tables for the club, providing opportunities for students to learn about us. During the fall and winter, I actively pursue recruitment efforts, which include purchasing materials to attract students to the booth and creating and distributing flyers and handbills around campus.  Also, I deliver a compelling elevator pitch, highlighting the club's activities and what they offer, aiming to pique the interest of potential members. Through these efforts, I strive to foster a vibrant and inclusive community within the club and encourage students to join them on our karate journey.

I also pursue a side career as a fitness instructor. To connect with my clients, I established an Instagram account that serves as a hub for various fitness-related information. This includes my class schedule, helpful tips and tricks, and at-home workout routines. I manage this account for both my fitness classes in Los Gatos and at Santa Clara University.

 

Previously, I worked at Montecito Heights Health Club, and although there is a highlight on my Instagram from that period, no more posts remain from that time. Nevertheless, I actively maintain this account by regularly sharing engaging content, including reels, posts, and stories, to keep my clients informed and motivated.

 

One of my top priorities is to be readily available to anyone who wishes to reach out. I make sure to promptly respond to Direct Messages, ensuring that I provide the support and guidance my clients may need on their fitness journey. Through my Instagram account, I aim to inspire and empower others to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle.
